Mrs. B. Mohajer, Mother of Payman Mohajer, Ex-ABM |
She explains her experience about teaching in North of India :
The group comprised of Ramesh Chandra, Rachna Sinha and myself (Mrs. Mohajer).
Assam
: We were given a warm welcome by Baha`is of Guwahati, we met many Baha`is in
their houses. We also had the opportunity of meeting the community. We visited
four villages and stayed two nights in one village. In Assam 24 people
accepted the Faith.
Nagaland : Our next stop was
at Dimapur. though we had decided not to stay there for a long time, but we
were forced to do so due to the ongoing roadways strike. The Board member of
the area Mr. Panda arranged for gatherings at two villages and we had
opportunity to visit the Baha’i community of these two places. There was a gathering
of the Baha`is of Dimapur in Mr. Panda`s house and we were able to speak to
some seekers. Few of them took declaration cards and promised to fill them
later.
Manipur : From Dimapur we
went to Imphal. A fireside was arranged which was attended by 35 people. The
youth in Manipur are very enthusiastic when it comes to serving the Faith. I
think this is a very unique community. If suitable plans are given to the
youths of Manipur I feel this state can be the first Baha’i state in India.
Three people accepted the Faith . One Local Spiritual Assembly was also formed.
Sikkim :
In Sikkim
we met the local community and visited three Baha’i schools. We joined the Baha’i
of that area in electing the Local Assembly of Pandam. The Baha’i of Sikkim
are very loving and active.

Dear Mrs. B. Mohajer will you please answer
these questions :
- The North Eastern states are restricted area in India .How can an Iranian visit these places for preaching foreign religion?.
- You said that you went and visited the villages in Assam and 24 people accepted the Baha’i Faith. Many Seekers (Non Baha’is) were also called by the ABM of that place, he took the declaration cards and promised to fill it. Whereas the UHJ of which your dear son Mr. Payman Mohajer is the member now advocates that we should withdraw the declaration card. Is this withdrawal has any relation with hiding the Baha’i Activities in India.
- Can you give the reference of where has Bahaullah said then you take declaration from the Non Baha’is while converting and where he said that when situation is not favorable, withdraw the declaration card ? Isn’t the UHJ directing the Baha’i activities in India.and other countries?
- In 1996, There was no Ruhi Book , no Moral classes for Children and the Jr. Youth and no JYSEP still you managed to get so many declaration (Converts) for the Baha’i Faith. We understand that the Establishment of Ruhi study circles and four core activities came from UHJ in 1996.Can you explain that before 1996, how the Baha’i Administration and UHJ were looking for spiritual development of children of non Baha’is? How suddenly the UHJ has realized that the children and youths of non Baha’is are morally weak and it is the responsibility of the Baha’is to make them spiritually strong?
- You said that you hope Manipur will emerge as the first Baha’i state in India. Definitely the UHJ must be having a plan and date for all the states of India and finally for India herself. Can you elaborate on this issue further?
